ABOUT
THE ARTIST
Shobana
Udayasankar,a gifted artist,
started her pursuit 3 decades ago with
oil and water colors. She quickly adopted herself to the Tanjore and Mysore
Schools of Arts and reached excellence in a short span of ten years. Her
works numbering more than 100 in these two styles without corrupting their
traditional form in their splendor and beauty vouch for her dedication
and devotion.
Her natural talents were moulded by none other than the Shri J. Dundaraja . She gets the inspirations from the principles of "Hindu philosophy" and "Divinity" that help her to bring out true flavour representing the divine metaphors both in forms and colours.
